Covid Art 76: Assurance that spring will come

This beautiful small photograph of the woods in France in late autumn or early spring lining a country path is paired with a young lady who appears to be carrying a bible. The young lady in black is from Heidi’s collection of Swiss family. The colors and perspective work perfectly together. At this time, it is perhaps (but not necessarily) a comfort to reconsider events that happened before we were born, or horrific times elsewhere during our lifetime. I feel fortunate to have lived well these past six decades. And I always seek out woods and forests to rekindle that sense of peace with nature that keeps me going.
