We’re all feeling the discomfort of face masks under California’s Covid 19 rules: its nearly 100 degrees every day this week and the masks are stifling. Imagine the underwear 125 years ago in similar heat! The two ladies in the antique photo, seemingly enjoying ‘nature’ are cosseted up in their undergarments such as on the left. Some things have improved!
